Good choice of freshly prepared foods at breakfast - Fair-trade products where possible and local suppliers. Free Wi-Fi. From the proprietors: Overlooking Morecambe's fine promenade with many rooms providing panoramic sea views, the Westleigh offers comfortable accommodation within easy reach of town.  Our 14 en-suite rooms include single, double, twin, triple and family options.  Each room has Freeview TV with up to 30 channels, central heating and tea/coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi is available throughout.  A stair lift is available to all floors.  Breakfast is served in our ground floor dining room with views of the Lake District opposite.  We offer a variety of breakfast options including full English and vegetarian.  High chairs are available for children.  Evening meals are also available on request for groups.  The guest lounge has a large TV, games and ironing facilities.  A bathroom, with bath, is available for all guests.  Buses into Lancaster leave from across the road and the train station is just a short walk away.  We are a pet free and non-smoking establishment throughout.  The Westleigh has been awarded a 3 star Guest Accommodation Visit Britain grading.

It is our belief that an enjoyable holiday is made up of cleanliness, good food and comfortable surroundings, with a convivial and personal service.  Our General Manager, Nigel Walker heads up a team dedicated to this end.  The Auckland is situated on the sea front, on the Central Promenade, offering spectacular view of the Bay and the Lakeland hills behind. The hotel is within easy access of all the main amenities, for example; Gala Bingo, Morecambe Super Bowl, Cinemas, Shopping Centre, Markets and Super Dome, whilst Happy Mount Park is not far away. The newly refurbished Promenade offers an interesting level walk around the Bay with its much acclaimed Eric Morecambe Statue, Tern Project and beautiful stone jetty.
